About Me.
I’m Kavya Raj, an experience designer who works at the intersection of behaviour, design, and strategy.
My work focuses on understanding people in context, how they think, feel, and move through systems and translating those insights into meaningful, connected experiences. I’m particularly interested in helping organizations shift from fragmented touchpoints to cohesive, seamless ecosystems.
With a background in ethnographic and generative research, service design, and brand experience, I enjoy working on problems that are complex, human-centered, and rooted in real-world impact. From early discovery to concept development and execution, I approach design as both a strategic and empathetic practice.

Services
Service Design
I design end-to-end experiences that connect physical, digital, and human touch-points into a coherent system. Rather than treating service moments as isolated interactions, I map how people actually move through a service, surfacing where it breaks down and reimagining it as one connected journey rather than fragmented parts.
UX Research
I use qualitative and ethnographic methods like interviews, contextual inquiry, and field observation, to understand people in the context of their real behavior, not just their stated preferences. Research is the foundation of my process: it defines the problem before any solution gets proposed, and every design decision traces back to an insight.
Product Design
I take validated research and turn it into tangible product experiences, from low-fidelity prototypes tested with real users to high-fidelity interfaces ready for build. I care as much about why a feature exists as how it looks, so my product work stays grounded in the problem it's meant to solve.
